Snow tires for 2006 Honda Odyssey

I'm looking for a decent set of snow tires for a 2006 Honda Odyssey (EX).
I've narrowed my search down to the following:

TireTrends pricing:
- Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 (235/65/16): $198.
- Firestone Winterforce UV (225/70/16): $133.
- Michelin Latitude X-Ice (225/70/16): $180.

1010Tires pricing:
- Toyo Observe G-02 plus (235/65/16): $179.
- Yokohama Ice Guard IG20 (235/6516): $184.

All in, I would like to spend a maximum of $1000 (incl. steel wheels and taxes). Michelin & Toyo currently have a rebate of $50 to $60.

I noticed that TireTrends increased the price of the Bridgestone Blizzaks (235/65/16) from $160 to $198 within the last couple of days. Not sure why.

we recently purchased a set of Michelin X-Ice2 tires from CostCo for our 2007 Ford Focus ZX5 SES...the factor Pirelli (all seasons) were terrible in the snow so we made the jump...i was not overly familiar with winter tires, but the set of X-Radials we have purchased from CostCo for our other vehicles have been very good, so we went with Michelin again...i can't believe how much of a difference these tires make...snow, ice, slush, even standing water...they are worth every penny...it isn't so much the acceleration, but the handling and braking is phenomenal...our OEM tire size is 16", but we were able to install some 15" ones instead which helped keep the costs down.

i would highly recommend the X-Ice2 tires to anyone looking for a quality winter tire.

Just curious, what tire size is currently on your Odyssey?  If you are on a budget the Winterforce will likely do the job.

I'm leaning towards the Toyo Observe G02 Plus OR Yokohama Iceguard IG20.
Tire size would be 235/65/16. I read that the Yokohama Iceguard IG20 is a newer tire than the Toyo Observe G02 Plus, however it wears out faster.
Which would be the better winter tire?

I have the IG20s and they have been wonderful tires so far. Good safe tires with excellent snow traction and good slush and wet performance and also surprisingly good dry/bare road characteristics. If you plan to drive a bit more spirited, go with the Michelin Xi2s if you can find them, but if you just want tires that'll get you there no matter the weather, you can't go wrong with the Xi2s.
