Hey I just threw new rear tires on and now my tire dash light comes on when I drive. I clear it but then it comes back up. I told the shop to use the same valves  any ideas?

TPMS maybe. Are you filling them to the same pressure as the old tires?

no the toyos dont run the same psi as the conti's did, as far as I knew, when you reset the tire light, your setting the benchmark for where the pressure is at that point so if it goes under it notifies you.

have you checked each tire to ensure that you dont have a slow leak? ensure that all tires are exactly where you want them and then reset. Try that and report back.

Fill your tires to the proper PSI and reset the TPMS. If the light reappears, check to see if the pressure has dropped. If not, then you have a problem with your TPMS.

Are you filling your tires when they're cold or hot? You may have to factor in the outside temp if you're in NJ. Drop in 10 degrees is roughly a 1 PSI drop in air pressure.

the OP has already double checked on that...
