Had these installed yesterday on the wife's '07 Uplander. We make frequent trips to the local ski hill, a couple of trips over the hills to Vancouver, and a bit of local snow.

The van does outstanding on the crappy Goodyear Integrity's, so I'm expecting good things from these "snows" I purchased at Fountain.

The Ice Pro's were by far the best priced snow tires in town (Kelowna BC), I'll update this post with my review once we see snow again (Big White tomorrow).

I'm Might be buying a set of these tires for my uncles 2011 Ford Edge. Do they make noise while driving on the Road, and are they smooth?

I bought these this winter and so far quite happy with them. I've found them to be very quiet on the road and smooth running (so smooth I've forgotten how smooth my summer tires were.)  I found a little used gravel road today, snow about 4", a few twisty 's' curves, noticeable potholes in places and a few icy patches. While I wasn't daring enough to accelerate to 50 mph, I did run some tests for acceleration and emergency braking. Results -- no skidding, solid feel to the stops, back end followed the front, and good acceleration without spinning when leaving the slight uphill snow covered intersection to get back on the well-traveled highway.

My passenger, on the highway portions of the 2-hour each way trip, never commented on my speed even though the GPS was clearly showing I was driving above his '79 km is just as fast as 80 km' rule. This is a testament to how smooth the ride was with the new tires as he comments regularly with the summer tires when hitting rougher pavement.
